Another of Canada's Veteran Blues "work horses", Tim Williams often racks up over 275 gigs a year!! He travels with a "store full" of vintage gear and has appeared with such Blues giants as BB King, Pee Wee Crayton, George "Harmonica" Smith, Buddy Guy, Fred McDowell, Queen Ida and John Hammond!

Tim is an eloquent and soft spoken blues historian telling stories with gracious, good humour of his grandmother's cookin', his first slide-guitar lesson at his grandfather's side, and his youth in a small southern California town. His delivery of Woodie Guthrie's "Plane Wreck at Los Gatos (Deportee)", from " Evenings Among Friends" is a moving tale and rarely fails to bring me to tears. Recorded live in Calgary, Alberta, every track on "Evenings" is a perfect example of Tim's passion and love for accoustic Blues!

Just watch out though! When he straps on his old "Supro" and rips it up, he can coax those creamy, overdriven slide runs that seem to set the house a-blaze as he did last Spring, during the "Rawking" Concert at Hornby Island.
